Role: Business Development Consultant
Location: Leicester / Loughborough (+ Work from home)
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
Hours: 8:30 – 17:30 Monday – Friday

We are a small but ambitious Recruitment Specialist agency based in Leicestershire looking to offer an opportunity to an enthusiastic individual who is keen to continue explore a career working in recruitment sales.
We have excellent funding from a large recruitment firm and have all the right tools and training to progress your career.
We specialise in recruiting in the engineering / Manufacturing and technical sectors but would be keen to expand further down the line into more areas. At present, we are looking to employ a Business Development Consultant to work and build a business within a business which the sky is the limit. Having full autonomy to do your role with all the tools, training you will ever need. Ideally, we need someone who wants to be a business partner / Director.
The role of the Business Development Consultant will involve.
This is an opportunity for a Business Development Consultant who is looking to transition into a career in recruitment.
• As you transition into Recruitment, you will build and grow a client portfolio using commercial information to identify organisations that have current or future recruitment needs ranging from global multi-nationals through to SME’s
• Market map to identify areas of growth/competitor spend and work to win the business
• Develop client contact strategies and conduct business development calls/LinkedIn etc
• Schedule and attend pitches with prospective clients
• Consult and engage with clients to understand their needs and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting the right candidates
• Networking in industry sector, and specialism to become an expert in your market
• Candidate engagement – identify and attract potential candidates
• Interview candidates to understand their requirements and best client fit, gaining valuable market information
• Provide advice on market conditions, CV and interview techniques and managing expectations both of client and candidate
• Work as an integral member of a team, motivating one another and communicating effectively
To be considered for the post of the Recruitment Specialist, you will ideally need to have.
• At least 3 year’s experience working within a Sales, B2B or Business Development position
• Good levels of computer literacy, with familiarity of databases and CRM systems.
• The ability to work conjunctively with other members of the team.
• Either a full UK driving license due to the company’s location or live within a commutable distance to Leicester / Loughborough or anywhere in the UK
• Proven track record of success in recruitment or sales
• The ability to work under strict timescales and in a deadline sensitive environment.
